Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Cutting Angles (“we”, “our”, “us”) is published by 4D-International / 4D-OFIS, OOO. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Cutting Angles app on Android (com.d4int.cuttingangles) and iOS.

2. What the app does

Cutting Angles calculates miter and bevel saw angles from the spring angle and the corner angle you enter. Those calculations run on your device. We do not create an account for you and we do not operate our own backend for this app.

3. Information we process

3.1. App inputs

Spring angle, corner angle, language preference, and whether ads are disabled are stored locally on your device (for example in app preferences). We do not receive these values on our servers.

3.2. Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated usage, such as:

App opens and basic device information (model, OS version, language)
In-app events such as calculate and disable_ads

Firebase is operated by Google. See Google Privacy Policy.

3.3. Advertising (Yandex Mobile Ads)

The free version may show ads from Yandex Advertising Network (sticky banner and app-open ads). The ad SDK may collect advertising identifiers, device and network information, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Yandex Privacy Policy.

You can remove ads with an optional paid subscription on Android (Google Play).

3.4. Subscriptions (Google Play Billing)

If you buy or restore an ad-free subscription, purchase status is handled by Google Play. We store only a local entitlement flag on the device so the app can hide ads. Payment details stay with Google. See Google Privacy Policy.

4. How we use information

To provide the calculator and remember your settings
To show ads in the free version, or hide them if you subscribe
To improve the app using aggregated analytics

5. Data storage

Calculator inputs and preferences stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes local app data. Subscriptions remain managed in Google Play and can be restored after reinstall.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page.
